Hello! My name is Brownie SC and I've travelled all the way from South Carolina to PA to find my forever home. I'm a lab mix. I'm quite the Southern gentleman. I've mastered sit, stay, and down. I take treats nicely from my foster moms hand and even listen when the foster children give me a command. I don't jump on the furniture and love relaxing on the floor rug next to you. I'm a fun, silly, lovable boy who is crate trained and house trained. I am treat motivated so teaching me more commands and tricks will be easy! I'm good with older children. My littermate Vinnie was fostered with me but we both had been adopted. I however misbehaved and was returned to the rescue as my family noted I just was not going to be a right fit. I do have other foster four legged friends in my current home and like to play with them but am quick to submit if they challenge me over a toy. I love my play time and like to play ball, run around in the fenced yard (preferred), and getting scratched behind the ears. I'm truly a loverboy who will do whatever it takes to steal your heart! In return I will give you years of undying devotion, lots of slobbery kisses and be your best friend forever! Will you be my second chance (or third) at life? Pawlease? Some dogs will have fence requirements while others may not. A pet is a lifetime commitment. The dogs and cats in our system find themselves there, for the most part, because their humans did not have the same loyalty to them as they did to their owners. We do not take the adoption process lightly, and will do everything in our power to make sure the animal is placed correctly the first time around for your sake and theirs.
