Carly

It's Carly...I'm doing very well in my new home. I love my new family, house, and yard. I love Abigail and Hannah but they are older and don't want to play much. Luckily my new people play with me lots! My mom has taken me to this really cool place called a barn! My new aunt holds me on the leash while mom rides but It's so exciting to see all these huge animals! The nice people at the barn think I'm super cute and spoil me with treats. I am very attached to my mom...so much so that I climb in the shower with her! My appetite is great - I've been eating ground beef and rice and chicken broth along with my puppy food. This sure beats the shelter life! Mom is taking me to the vet for a well visit once she recovers from the oral surgery she had today. My new family really loves me and I love them. Thank you for taking me in and making my chance for a happy life possible. I'll be in touch again soon...have to go run around the house and jump on the furniture before I get ready to hop in bed with mom and Abigail for the night. Lots of love! Carly

Chloe

Chloe is dong fine. She is following me all around the house and getting used to everyone. She slept with us in bed last night and is actually laying her on the couch right now taking a nap. Thank for the pictures. I will send them to my son today. Celeste Hi Colleen, Oh my, what an experience for my little girl. She went in yesterday at 9AM but didn't get her procedure until 5AM this morning. All day waiting and not eating and not knowing what was going on. I felt for her. Anyway, we picked her up this morning around 9AM and she has just been relaxing since. Guess she will start jumping around again tomorrow. Otherwlse, Chole is doing wonderful. She loves going on long walks, multiple times a day - she wants to be outside, visiting all the dogs and children in the neighborhood. Maybe in the future we will adopt another dog and they can be playmates. Thanks for checking in and thinking about us. Love Celeste

Cody McKain

Cody was suppose to be owned by a lady from Harrisburg. She had lost then found him. She had no clue it was not her dog. He was too young (4yrs difference) and didn't even look like her dog's pictures. She said she couldn't handle him anymore! So he came to live with us. He did go to what he thought was his new home in York PA but it turned out that his "brother" didn't have the energy to keep playing and got snippy toward Cody so in less than 24 hours he came back home to us. He liked returning to play with PeeWee his best bud! It didn't take long till Brad and Michelle from York, PA, spotted him and added him to their family. When we arrived to their home Cody ran along side his new "sister" in the fenced in back yard. He just loved running free! It was so cool to see him happy and playing with his new family!
